The Songwriters Expo takes place at the Cadillac Lounge, 1296 Queen Street West, Toronto, (416) 536-7717. The show takes place from 4-7 p.m. There is never a cover for this event, instead we have a PWYC policy. Any amount given results in the automatic entry into the showtime raffle. One lucky winner takes home CD's of all or most of the shows performers; a sweet sounding deal!

Bob Reid has been writing songs for over 20 years. His first release, "Highway of Heroes," debuted at #1 on the Canadian singles sales chart last Christmas, and remained Top 20 for four months. In March, Bob was invited to visit the Canadian Forces mission in Afghanistan where he performed for the troops. He also co-hosts (with Blair Packham) a weekly music-focused talk show, “Rock Talk,” heard Sunday nights at 6:00 PM on NewsTalk 1010 in Toronto.
Patrick Ballantyne is a Toronto-based Singer/ Songwriter. Early on, he forged a strong bond with Gordie Johnson who later formed Big Sugar and Grady. Together they have written songs that have become staples of Canadian radio. Patrick co-wrote the Trews single "Poor Old Broken Hearted Me" which charted well for the band in 2007. Patrick recently released a CD of original material. He has also twice been a featured songwriting 'professor' at "Long and McQuade University".
Singer/songwriter Kim Koren draws from her roots to deliver an uncompromising musical melange from alternative country rock to beautiful ballads. Kim is in great company sharing the stage with a diverse and celebrated group of artists that include; Steve Earle, Barney Bentall, Country Joe McDonald, Bob Lanois and Joe Sumner of Fiction Plane. A veteran of two albums, Kim is currently in the studio crafting album number three.
